"Lonely People of London"

“A nineteen-year-old hits the streets of London with not much more than an old pair of Adidas and an iPhone. In such a fast-paced city with a hectic schedule and eager feet, it became easy for me to become lost in my photography. Many times I would turn around and realize that the only person whom I had to share my experiences with was myself. Independence is something that I am proud to have, but to say that it doesn’t come with some feelings of loneliness is an understatement. This time allowed me to become captivated by people who looked as if they were lost in their own worlds, and gave me a space to empathize with their narratives. This is the movie that was playing in my head, throughout my time in London.”
